East Midlands Air Freight Customs
East Midlands Airport is an important logistics hub for air cargo, serving businesses across the Midlands and beyond. When goods arrive by air, they need to go through the appropriate customs procedures before they can continue to their final destination.
Our East Midlands Air Freight Customs service is designed to make this part of the shipping process easier to manage.
We can help with the information and documentation needed for customs clearance, including details about the goods, their value, origin, destination, and purpose of the shipment.
The exact requirements can vary depending on the type of goods and the circumstances of the shipment, so we take the time to understand what you are moving before advising on the next steps.

Why Customs Clearance Matters
It is easy to think of customs as simply another step in the shipping process, but delays can have a knock-on effect on your entire supply chain.
A shipment waiting for missing information or clarification can mean stock arrives later than expected, customers have to wait, or time-sensitive goods are held at the airport.
That is why we believe good communication is important. At Cargo Northeast Ltd., we work with customers to understand their shipment and explain what is needed before the cargo reaches the customs stage wherever possible.
